Catalogue Assistance

Help getting your products listed — from a handful of SKUs to a full catalogue import.

Version 1Effective 18 September 2026History

Listing a catalogue by hand is the thing that stalls a new seller in week one. It does not have to be your job.

What we will do for you

Bulk import. Send us what you have — a spreadsheet, a price list, an export from another platform, a distributor's PDF — and we will get it into GFX. We handle the mapping to categories, attributes and the brand registry.

Matching to existing products. If a product is already on GFX, your listing attaches to that product page as an offer rather than creating a second page for the same camera. We do this matching for you; it is the part that is easy to get wrong and tedious to undo.

Filling in the gaps. Specifications, images and category attributes missing from your source data. Where the brand has claimed its registry entry, we pull from there. Where it has not, we tell you what is missing and how much it will cost you in ranking to leave it.

Cleaning up what arrives badly. Titles written for another marketplace, images hosted somewhere we cannot use, identifiers that turn out not to be identifiers. We fix these rather than importing them and leaving you with the problem.

What to send

Whatever you already have. There is no template to fill in first — we would rather see your real data and adapt to it than have you spend an afternoon reformatting.

Useful, if you have it:

  • Product identifiers — GTIN, EAN or manufacturer part number
  • Brand names, exactly as the brand writes them
  • Your price and your stock, per location if you hold stock in more than one
  • Images, or a link to where they live

If all you have is a price list with model numbers, send that. We will tell you what is missing.

How long it takes

A few dozen products, usually the same week. A few thousand, we will give you a date once we have seen the file — and a sample of the first fifty so you can check the result before we run the rest.

What we will not do

Invent product data. If a specification is not in your source and not in the brand registry, we leave it blank and tell you. A guessed specification on an electronics listing is a return waiting to happen, and returns cost you more than a blank field does.

Copy from another marketplace. Descriptions and images on another platform belong to whoever put them there. We will not lift them, and a listing built that way is a takedown request waiting to arrive.

Catalogue assistance

Send us what you need listed and we will come back on the fastest way to get it in.

We use what you send here only to answer you. Nothing is shared with sellers or anyone else without your say-so.
