Marketplace Terms of Use

Version 1 Effective 18 September 2026 History

Counsel must review this page before it takes effect. This is a structured first draft written from how GFX operates, not a binding document.

1. Who you are dealing with

GFX is operated by [FILL IN: legal entity, registered address, CIN, GSTIN]. Full details are on the contact page.

2. What GFX is

GFX is a marketplace. Products are sold by independent sellers, and the contract of sale is between you and the seller, not between you and GFX.

What GFX does: runs the platform and the catalogue, verifies sellers before they can sell, arranges delivery, collects payment, runs the support desk, and handles returns and complaints under published policies.

Every product page shows who is selling it. [FILL IN: counsel to confirm the seller particulars that must be displayed — legal name, principal address, GSTIN, customer care]

3. Using the site

You may browse without an account. Buying requires one.

You agree not to: use the site unlawfully; interfere with it or try to break it; scrape it or extract its data at scale; impersonate anyone; or use it to infringe someone else's rights.

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.

4. Prices, availability and errors

Prices are set by sellers and include GST unless stated. Delivery charges are shown before you pay.

Stock is live but not instantaneous. Where an item sells out between your order and the seller confirming it, the order is cancelled and you are refunded in full.

Where a price or description is obviously wrong — a mispriced camera, a specification that cannot be true — GFX or the seller may cancel and refund rather than fulfil. [FILL IN: counsel to word this carefully; an unreasonable version of this clause is worse than none]

5. Placing an order

Your order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when the seller confirms it, and an order confirmation email is not by itself acceptance. [FILL IN: counsel to confirm the formation point]

6. Payment

Payments are collected by GFX on the seller's behalf through a payment provider. GFX does not store your card details; the provider does.

[FILL IN: counsel to add the payment-collection basis and the provider relationship]

7. Delivery

Covered by the Shipping Policy. Delivery estimates are estimates. Where delivery fails through no fault of yours, you are refunded in full.

8. Returns, replacements and refunds

Covered by the Return & Replacement Terms and the Cancellation & Refund Policy, both of which form part of these terms.

Nothing on GFX limits your rights under Indian consumer law. Where these terms and the law disagree, the law wins.

9. Product information

Specifications and images are supplied by sellers and brands. GFX checks what it reasonably can. Where information turns out to be wrong in a way that matters, that is a returnable fault under the return terms, whatever the category says about change of mind.

10. Warranty

Manufacturer warranty is between you and the manufacturer or its service centre. Your purchase record in the Warranty & Authenticity Vault proves what you bought, when and from whom, and you do not need the invoice to claim.

Where a listing disclosed that the India manufacturer warranty does not apply — a parallel import — that disclosure is part of what you bought.

11. Your content

Reviews, questions and anything else you post must be your own and lawful. You grant GFX the right to display it on the site. GFX may remove content that breaks these terms.

12. Privacy

Covered by the Privacy Policy.

13. GFX's liability

[FILL IN: counsel. Not something to draft from operational knowledge.]

14. Complaints

Start with customer care. Unresolved, escalate to the Grievance Officer named on the same page, who acknowledges and resolves within the statutory timeframes.

15. Changes

These terms change from time to time. Every version stays readable with what changed and when. An order is governed by the terms in force when it was placed.

16. Law and jurisdiction

[FILL IN: governing law, jurisdiction, dispute resolution]
